i’ve seen people linking donation links to minnesota freedom fund, but they already have plenty of money from last summer and i would instead redirect money to the links above and other bipoc individuals/orgs
if you’re coming from out of town: please be mindful of the community and spaces you’re entering and protect those who are more vulnerable. stay out of private yards and be aware that many young children live in these residential areas.

I’m not a poet, I’m not great, I just have a lot of anxiety and I wanted to try something out. And you can make money on this site if people read your shit, so why not put myself out there a little bit
The worst part is the calculation it takes to do this. He knew that it was wrong. He set about it while he knew he’d have the time because she was in the shower, and then had the AUDACITY to ask her to come see because it was all about the reaction. He wanted to hurt her, he knew this was not a kind thing to do. He knew her reaction would be negative. Then to call her a child for being rightfully upset that he had ruined something she had spent hours on? When his behavior was some of the most childish I’ve ever heard from a nearly 30 year old man? Disgusting.

Thats fucked up in a lot of ways, it doesnt matter that its “just a game”, mona lisa is “just a painting”, the song that pulls you out of your hardest times is “just a tune”, the fuckin bird house i made when i was 8 was “just some wood”
But they mean something to people. They took time and effort and love to make and they don’t deserve to be destroyed over something petty like an argument about dinner.
Which btw if your SO is looking forward to your meal and you refuse to do it in anyway shape or form because you’re missing one ingredient, and it brings them to tears, and your first reaction is “destroy something they love”
